® / Argal TMA series,magnetic drive, self priming pumps are manufactured from the thermoplastic polymer, PP (Polypropylene) or the fluorinated polymer, Ethylene Chlorotrifluoroethylene ( E-CTFE ) which makes them ideal for pumping a wide variety of commonly used industrial acids and bases with operating temperatures up to 194 degrees F. Internal components are manufactured from ceramic, silicon carbide, carbon-graphite and glass fiber reinforced PTFE.
Injection-molded wet end components have a uniform thickness and are reinforced with ribs for robust construction. Typical applications include chemical transfer, decanting, galvanizing chemicals, pipe descaling chemicals, hydraulic systems, agricultural fungicides, liquid fertilizers and seawater pumps for recreational pleasure craft. Pumps can be run in either direction without loss of efficiency.
